In today’s polarized national-media landscape, conservative voices are often sidelined and even vilified. We The People can change that. This show is where conservatives from all walks of life—athletes, musicians, actors, business leaders, and more—can unapologetically celebrate our beliefs and passions.
Unlike traditional conservative shows that focus solely on public policy, and “hard politics,” We the People humanizes its guests, showcasing their personal stories and struggles in a laid-back, engaging environment. Our conversations will sound less like the nightly news and more like you and your friends hanging out on the back porch. The aim? To make conservatism relatable, cool, and approachable for a broad audience who may feel politically homeless or disengaged.
I’m your host. Gates Garcia. A husband, father, Catholic, former college athlete, and Claremont Institute Lincoln Fellow. I’ve lived both sides of the coin as I’ve worked in finance for the last 15 years while nurturing my passion for conservative media and the movement to protect sacred intuitions like the nuclear family.
But more importantly, I’m just a regular guy. And I’m leaving my finance career behind because I feel pulled from God to deliver these stories to our country. I don’t see our values reflected in the media so I’m dedicating the second half of my life to bring them to you. This is your show. I want you to feel like you’re looking into a mirror when you watch and listen.
We are going to have serious conversations but will wrap some humor and warmth around them. We will take the issues seriously, but not ourselves. The goal is for guests to talk about both why they have conservative values, but also how they live those values out daily, be it in the home, at the workplace, or in the public square. You should leave this show motivated to be more public about your own values like faith, family, and country.
For too long, conservatives have been cancelled. That ends with this show. It’s time to celebrate these heroes. We are the media now, and this is your show. This is for you. This is for me. This is for…we the people.
